DONATION | CREATIVE INTERNSHIP

As a grassroots youth-led organization — Flaunt-It is always searching for funding to support our non-profit and community-led programming. 

The Flaunt It Movement's Creative Internship Program is designed for 6 to 8 self-identifying young women artists in the exploration and early stages of their artistic careers. In the six-week paid incubator program, each intern individually and collaboratively produces a piece for Flaunt-It's annual Visual Anthology production that compiles art by BIWOC artists and organizations. 

This program is for young, racialized emerging artists from primarily low-income/underserved communities. Interns will explore multidisciplinary arts, creative entrepreneurship, and professional development to find success in the arts and their passions. It prioritizes youth who have been unable to access creative opportunities due to socioeconomic barriers.

In our first cohort, Flaunt-It has successfully worked with artists based in Toronto's low-income neighbourhoods. Within less than six weeks, our Cohort 1 interns have shot editorial campaigns, exhibited their work, started their businesses/began freelancing and more. Our program proves to be an empowering solution to the despair of opportunities available to youth in underserved communities. However, we need your help to sustain this program.

Donations of any amount are sincerely appreciated. You are welcome to put multiple quantities of certain donation amounts to help our work. If you would like to donate any in-kind services (ex: space, food, equipment, programs, materials, etc.), please contact us at community@flauntit.ca.

Flaunt-It Movement operates under the trustee partnership of charity organization, Success Beyond Limits (Charitable Number: 804825255RR0001). We are currently working on issuing official tax receipts. Any donations made now will be issued an official tax receipt before the end of 2022.
